Side Bar is een kleine gay cocktailbar in de levendige wijk Bairro Alto, vlakbij Clube da Esquina. Het heeft redelijk geprijsde drankjes en een leuke sfeer. Hoewel het klein is, is het een populaire plek en wordt het vaak bezocht door toeristen, dus de menigte stroomt bijna altijd over op de straat buiten.

Arrived 15 minutes after opening to be confronted be a twink that told me the bar was closed - doors open, bar open, music on, I was just tooo old, maybe someone should tell this f—- wit that I was one of the people that got his freedom. Disgusted and ashamed from my own community.
