    Het meerdere verdiepingen tellende, luxe Chakran beschikt over een mooi zwembad, jacuzzi, fitnessruimte, stoombad, droog sauna, donkere kamer, privé-hutjes, café-bar & restaurant dat lekkere Thaise gerechten serveert. Er is een man-tot-man massageservice beschikbaar bij de naastgelegen V Club.
    Chakrans nieuwste faciliteit, een rooftop onsen ("Ikuze") - de eerste mannen-only onsen in de stad - is steeds populairder geworden. De klanten zijn voornamelijk Thais, Aziaten en enkele westerlingen. 
    Het sauna wordt druk na het werk en in het weekend. Er zijn foamfeesten, naakte avonden en thema-avonden - controleer hun Facebook. De OG Gathering is heel populair - De entreeprijs voor bezoekers is 450 Thaise Baht, dit inclusief 1 gratis drankje.
    Vanaf het Ari BTS-station, loop richting de witte driehoekige brug, sla links af naar Soi Ari (Phahonyothin 7). Ga ongeveer 7 minuten door, sla links af naar Steeg 4. Chakran zal aan uw rechterhand liggen.

    Manque de fraîcheur

    Nous sommes allés cette après midi et ben voilà que dire, ça a mal vieillis,(insalubre capote dans les coins au dernière étage, l’eau du jacuzzi je n’en parle pas l’odeur horrible)beaucoup de demi niveau mal indiqué, ça méritait un bon nettoyage et un rafraîchissement Peux être un trop tôt mais alors personne, personne et encore personne c’est la première fois qu’on voit ça dans tous les saunas visités,à part le personnel de service et les hommes de plaisir de la maison parfait dans tout les sens du terme qui sont à votre service pour 2000bath pour commencer . De l’acceuil au bar que dire pour les premiers charmant pour la personne au bar qui faisait partie du taff antipathique ça n’aide pas . Fait, on ne fera plus.

    Very friendly

    I am a 60 year old English man who tries to keep in shape ;-) and i visit this sauna around 4-5 times a year on my travels. Every time here the staff throughout the complex are so friendly and try their best to make sure I enjoy the sauna, even when they don't speak English very well, we still get understood.(I acknowledge I don't speak Thai!!!) Also as long as you are polite and respectful I always seem to have some absolutely great fun with the other guests. Well worth a visit but remember be friendly, polite and respectful.

    Ultimate impression after a big renovation

    The renovations of Chakran sauna make the place look high class especially the cafe which I can have a conversation with new friends easier than before(the homemade cake is so tasty). The swimming pool is still the highlight and even more beautiful. I also like the idea that the daily event is different each day which makes it more interesting. Will go there again next time of my visit to Bangkok.

    Upgrade in progress … a new look with much anticipation!

    Went to Chakran on Saturday (31/8) … 1. the entire stairways to pool area & the pool was closed for renovation & upgrading work. 2. Rooftop remains the most happening spot all night long from 7pm. 3. A little surprise to experience a drop in crowds despite ongoing rooftop activities probably due to evening drizzle & the upgrading work in progress. Overall, the experience still great with Chakran sauna. Looking forward to have a new feel of the upgraded pool areas in time to come. Perhaps do some upgrade to the existing dark room area as well. Looks run down.
