Hotelbeschrijving
The Salisbury YMCA is a Christian organisation dedicated to justice, peace, truth and the management of a pretty decent hotel right on the tip of the Kowloon Peninsula.
Ok, so we are not quite sure how these things go together, but it has to be said that The Salisbury offers really good-value accommodation in an excellent location.
Many rooms have exceptional views of Victoria Harbour, and they all offer facilities such as broadband internet (charges apply) and satellite TV. There is a reasonable gym and swimming pool. From our own experience, we know that the hotel offers a warm welcome to all - gay or straight.
The HKCultural Centre and Space Museum are a few steps away, as are Nathan Road and Temple Street Night Market. The MTR and the ferries to Hong Kong Island are just a short walk, making the gay venues on both sides of the harbour easily accessible.
